Samba 2.2.10 из мастера. Озаботился переходом на samba3.
Говорят с октября 2004 года samba2 не будут поддерживать.
Сервер работает контроллером домена.
Клиенты в основном Win98, около 60 шт.
Добавлял пользователя на сервер:
"user" и "user$", то есть имя компьютера$ и пользователя совпадали.
Появились клиенты Win XP Pro, у них нельзя чтобы имя компьютера
и пользователя совпадали.
Что используется при подключении, имя компьютера или пользователя?
Можно ли обновить/установить samba3 поверх samba2.
Какие трудности при этом?
Winbind и прочие настройки не использовал по причине необразованности
в данном вопросе :)
В мастере 2.4 будет только samba2? Нужно успеть перейти...
