Совершенно необязательно использовать в подсетях
механизм "elections" протокола SMB.
Рассылка широковешательных пакетов, используемая для заполнения browse list
"съедает" значительную часть трафика. Кроме того, иногда на "выборах"
побеждает
не самба-сервер...
Поэтому лучше писать:
domain master = No
local master = No
remote annonce = No
а на клиентах прописать адреса wins серверов и выключить browsing (в
смысле рассылку
широковещательных пакетов для разрешения имен NetBIOS ).
