Не очень хорошая (ИМХО).
Если некуда девать свои силы лучше открыть новый OCR проект (или
разморозить старый). Только необходимо придерживаться unix-stile
(комплект консольных утилит: работа с SANE, распознование текста,
формул, таблиц, музыкальных знаков, компоновщика, утилит(ы) импорта
экспорта, мордашек под qt/gtk и д.р. ), т.к. это ускорит работу по
созданию пргограммы, повысит качество и будет действительно
универсальным инструментом. Также если в проект будет вовлечено много
народу, то обеспечено динамическое развитие проекта. Многие OCR проекты
затормаживались из-за попытки изготовить монстра, а ограниченным кругом
разработчиков сложно потянуть такое.
