Не было у бабы забот, купила баба порося...
Вот прикупил себе новую карточку. Creative live 5.1 (та что из рода
emu10k1).
Все вроде бы работает, но хочется большего. Отсюда целый список вопросов.
1. emu10k-tools работают только с OSS? Или можно его подружить и с
альзовским драйвером?
2. Как заставить карточку воспроизводить midi собственным бортовым
синтезатором (если таковой там вообще имеется)?
3. Есть ли приличный графический (под X) микшер, более-менее правильно
отображающий возможности карточки?
А то aumix и kmix под OSS выглядят как-то убого, явно маловато
контролов, а kmix под ALSA - это что-то с чем-то. Куча бестолково
навороченных элементов управления. Причем некоторые регулируют явно не
то, что вроде должно быть из подписи. Другие же вообще ничего не
регулируют. Кошмар, одним словом.
4. Можно ли альзовский драйвер заставить выводить звук без щелчков?
Пока что я остановился на обычном (не альзовском) драйвере, поскольку он
показался мне более адекватным, и звук нормально воспроизводится.
