Последние версии cdrecord/xcdroast умеют работать напрямую
с ide-приводами, но без поддержки dma. Поэтому вполне можно
оставаться и на старых проверенных, настроив читающий привод
также, как и пишущий, т.е. через эмуляцию SCSI.
