И еще: на этой же машине есть возможность загрузиться с другого диска.
На том диске раньше система и стояла, но потом воткнули текрамовский
SCSI-контроллер и соответствующий винт, с которым на следующий день и
получили проблемы. И мне никто не верит, что винт битый, потому что он
новый (а в каких еще случаях бывает input/output error при
чтении/создании файла?). Ставить DOS и FAT32, а потом гонять scandisk не
хочется, хотя мне предложили действовать именно так, чтобы убедиться в
работоспособности винта.
Я написал mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/disk/ и получил mount: /dev/sda1 is not a
valid block device
Какие настройки необходимо перенести (и где взять модуль ядра для SCSI)?
Настраивать SCSI иначе, кроме как инсталлятром Мастера ;) я не умею
