Нет, насколько я понимаю, luser_relay пересылает почту на вполне
определенный ящик. У меня же почта просто исчезает - отправитель думает,
что она дошла, но на сервере ее нигде нет
Да, это происходит, если письма посылаются с удаленного хоста. Локально
все нормально, т.е. в ответ на echo hello | mail unexisting в логах
появляется сообщение о user unknown и постфикс возвращает это письмо c
сообщением о том, что отправитель не найден
