Установка новых мозиллы и галеона потребовала у меня примерно
того же самого (libXinerama.so.1 входит в состав XFree-libs, кажется,
а X-ы потребовали еще много чего на 350Мб). Я, конечно, не самый
достойный пример, но у меня в результате грохнулось ВСЕ, и
apt не смог разрешить конфликты с пакетами даже после того,
как я попытался сделать dist-upgrade.
Короче - если готовы рискнуть и не боитесь dist-upgrade - ставьте
MPalyer со всеми зависимостями из сизифа.
Другой вариант - взять src с сайта mplayer-a и попытаться собрать
его с тем, что есть в данный момент на диске.
