чтобы что-то скачать большое запускаю
на сервере wget строкой типа:
wget <parameters> | mail dimka
и оно мне шлет нотификацию, когда все скачает (или прервет скачку),
да вот неудобно то что вгет при этом нельзя как демона
пустить, то есть приконнектился - пустил - отконнектился
приходится эту команду at-у отдавать (там правда mail становится
не нужен)
порывшись по ману вгета не нашел ничего связанного с нотификацией
после окончания работы в режиме демона...
может можно как-то обойтись без at?
