У меня таботает нормально, только позавчера все налаживал.
1. Проверьте куда именно (в сырцы какого именно ядра) глядит
/usr/src/linux/include
несть ненулевая вероятность, что вы собирали модули с хедерами от
предыдущего ядра - гарантировано неработающий результат.
2. Собирать надо gcc9.96, по крайней мере VMware врямо заявляет о
том, что gcc3 она нелюбит.
Для этого скажите рутом:
select-gcc 2.96
и после этого уже:
vmware-config.pl
должно все заработать.
