буквально вчера ставил спринг и подключал два принтера через cups -
rulez сплошной
принтеры 5 и 5М.
НО, они подключены прямо к сети, то-есть имеют собственные ip.
И машину я ставил как сервер и потом раздал эти принтеры через
самбу.
Может стоит рассмотреть такой вариант?
P.S. только в ppd файле для LJ5 формат бумаги по-умолчанию был
Letter, соответственно с нижнего лотка он печатать отказывался
Вылечилось ручной правкой lp.ppd
P.P.S. Так что теперь spring обслуживает внутреннюю сеть
новосибирского отделения Инстинута Открытое Общество. Виват.
