Здравствуйте, .
Напомню что проблемой были безумные тормоза ноута П200/96 (а может и
П166 я не уверен )так вот выжимка происходящего . Как показала
практика все тормоза решились откатом с ядра 2.6.x на 2.4.x
а по скорости самым шустрым _на моей машине_ оказалась ветка 2.2.х
Все игры с пересборками , оптимизациями и прочим _видимого_ результата
не дали .
Пришлось откатиться на ветку 2.4.х , упразднить xfs и тчательно
пересмотреть какие шрифты нужны а какие нет . после чего стало вдоволь
и скорости и памяти
