Посмотрите его настройки (ПКМ -> Свойства), не используется ли какой-то
свой файл меню вместо системного меню. Также branding-simply-linux-menu
содержит собственное меню, например. Я навскидку не помню, нет ли
каких-то других меню в других брендингах.
