Судя по hd0, это grub пытается сохранить информацию о выбранном
пункте загрузки; раз диск 2,5" -- это, наверное, ноутбук и шлейф
проверить сложнее, но если уже разбирали, то может иметь смысл;
иначе можно отключить GRUB_SAVEDEFAULT в /etc/sysconfig/grub2
и сделать grub-autoupdate (либо grub-install /dev/sda).

В dmesg | grep sda ничего подозрительного? А в выводе
smartctl -a /dev/sda насчёт pending sectors или uncorrectable
errors?
