После беглого гугления могу сказать, что есть рецепт в случае, если Вы заходили
в этот каталог незадолго до удаления: нажимаете <Alt+Shift+H> и видите список
посещенных каталогов. Наводите курсор на подозрительные названия, нажимаете
<Enter>, если получили огненную надпись про невозможность сменить каталог, Вы у
финиша. Выход традиционно по <F10>. Также без списка : <Alt+y> -- вперед,
<Alt+u> -- назад. Правда, в список зайти придется все равно, чтобы узнать
название отсутствующего каталога. И еще оговорка: хранится ограниченное число
папок, у меня 60 (по умолчанию).
Позвольте поинтересоваться: Вам название для отчета или для восстановления? Во
втором случае это может быть проблематично, так как судя по Вашему письму,
дескриптор наверняка затерт новым каталогом.
