Лучше скрипты называть иначе, чем уже существующие скрипты/бинари
(например, rsync.sh или sync-p6). Меньше сюрпризов, когда уже
подзабудется.

И помимо очевидного permission denied -- при работе с rsync лучше
указывать каталоги с trailing slash (подробности в мане, но тогда
гарантированно синхронизироваться будут именно указанные каталоги
безо всяких эвристик):
rsync [...] rsync.altlinux.org::ALTLinux/p6/branch/ \
/mnt/Disk_Lin/Install_Lin/ALD6.0/branch/
Характерным признаком недосмотров являются варианты вида
branch/branch на принимающей стороне :)
