Взял altlinux-6.0.1_rc2-simply-i586-ru-install-dvd5.iso.
- первое, что бросилось в глаза при установке (пока vbox) --
густо-голубой фон альтератора после светло-голубого gfxboot
- при попытке сделать корень на BtrFS по "далее" alterator-vm
ругнулся: "No such file or directory":

(установка на ext4 прошла нормально)
- может, я неправ, но яндекс-бар по умолчанию выглядит навязчиво:
бросается задавать вопросы, отъедает ещё одну строку интерфейса,
при этом дублирует уже имеющееся (и перестроенное на яндекс)
поисковое поле
- по кнопке питания (или acpi shutdown) _не_ выключился:
после #25018 приходится добавлять в дистрибутивы ещё и
acpid-events-power, помимо самого acpid и настроек
А так -- симпатично, надо на железе посмотреть :)
