Если пакеты не обновляли перед возникновением проблемы, то очень похоже
на аппаратные проблемы. Попробуйте загрузится с LiveCD в Linux или
другую альтернативную :) систему и проверьте флешку. Если проблема
повторится, значит что-то с железом (не тянет по питанию USB порты,
или они подпалены)
Да, есче, попробуйте подклучить флешку непосредственно в порты на
материнке.
