Где-то прочел, что в 2.6.31 будет кардинальное изменение быстродействия
в целом, особенно это касается работы графики (Х).. вроде так, а там
видно будет.. Что-то у нас пока 2.6.31 не видно.
2.6.18 - это не в 4.0 было? В бета версиях по крайней мере.. То-то же я
писал, что там все летало на 128 мб и трансметовской недоделке Крузо..
А вот нынешнее 2.6.30 последнего разлива гораздо медленнее.
Хотя, думаю, было бы неверно все валить именно на ядро. То же gtk2 явно
не убавляет аппетиты при повышении версии..
