Кажись разобрался!
Т.е. понял, кажется, "что", но не совсем понял "почему".
Было получено письмо, да еще и, судя по всему, не одно.
легло в
/home/bob/.kde/share/apps/kmail/mail/inbox/new
при переносе его в ..../cur
происходит крэш...
Если интересно - одно такое письмо в аттаче (на всякий случай
запаковал)... :))
