Разработчики только что сообщили, что идея плохая. Собственно, эти источники
можно было раскомментарить по умолчанию, но это приведёт к слишком большому
трафику к основному серверу, а не распределению по зеркалам.
В 4.1 Desktop новый модуль выбора репозиториев. Там можно включить репозиторий
двумя кликами. И описание дано.
Также (не знаю, успеем ли к 4.1) планируем в трей запихивать уведомление об
обновлениях. Возможно, при первом его запуске и можно будет выбрать
репозиторий сразу.
