На Вашей каритнке -- никакие не артефакты, а нормальные символы для навигации
по веб - страничке клавиатурой (т.е., без помощи мыши), которые делает
konqueror при нажатии на клавишу control.
ps: очень многие вопросы снимаются. если отказаться от навязанной
разработчиками локализации windows привычки прееключать раскладки комбинацией
cntrl /alt/shift. Повесьте переключение, напрмер. на правый control и
некоторые "глюки" таинственным образом исчезнут.
