Subject: [Comm] Драйверы для принтероа класса HP

Купил год назад принтер HP Photosmart C3100
Пытался поставить под Compact 3.0
Подходящего драйвера не нашлось.
Скачал с http://hplip.sourceforge.net/
исходники драйвера hplip-1.6.10
Сконфигурировал как custom - все отлично встало - печать, сканирование -
все работает без замечаний.
В этом году решил перейти на Desktop 4.0 - та же история - драйвера для
HP C3100 нет - снова пришлось вспоминать прошлый опыт - пересобирать
драйвер hplip-1.6.10 (хотя на сайте hplip уже лежать драйвера 2.7.12)
Вопрос - почему нельзя включить драйвера hplib в Desktop 4.0?
Взять на себя сборку пакетов не могу - но потестировать - с большим
удовольствием...
