По-моему, вам рекомендуют откровенный костыль... Не могу присоединиться к
рекомендации.
У меня работает следующая строчка в /etc/fstab:
//COMPUTER/Music /mnt/music cifs users,noauto,guest,rw,iocharset=utf8,gid=users,file_mode=0660,dir_mode=0770
Вы в /etc/fstab указывать тип файловой системы cifs попробовали?
