Тю, так пробуйте, если что -- выкладывайте спеки и спрашивайте,
что про них скажут (или по проблемам).

а вообще при интересе что-нить запакетить может иметь смысл
найти на www.sisyphus.ru или alt.linux.kiev.ua спек чего-то
подобного (тоже графического файл-менеджера или тоже библиотеки)
и сперва посмотреть на него (в качестве примера --

Так что приступайте, не так это страшно, как поначалу кажется.
Сам вон пару лет раскачивался, спасибо Владимиру Бормотову за
разъяснения, которые помогли сняться с ручника и взяться за ум.
