Это вполне технически обоснованный ответ был, между прочим.
Переустанавливать не надо, а вот пересобрать -- может и
потребоваться. rpm --rebuild src.rpm, в смысле.

А я -- нет. Мне жалко сборщиков этих поделий, которые бьются
головами о стенки в кубиклах, чтобы что надо -- засунуть
статиком, а что-то при этом ещё динамиком оставить по разным
причинам...
