Добрый день.
Была локальная (очень) сеть с исторически сложившимся
длинным доменным именем вида lan.wan.ru.
В один прекрасный вчерашний день решили наконец сократить
это имя до просто lan
В результате перестала отправляться почта на сокращенные
адреса вида user@host (тестовая команда - mail user@host), хотя
раньше работало, и вполне исправно уходит на адрес user@host.lan
Изучение логов показало, что раньше user@host при отправке
почты правильно преобразовывался в user@host.lan.wan.ru .
Теперь вместо user@host.lan получается user@host.myhost.lan ,
где myhost - компьютер, с которого отправляется письмо.
Изучение вывода postconf -d показало, что если имя компьютера
имеет вид host.net.dom (и длиннее), то myhostname = host.net.dom , а
mydomain = net.dom , что собственно и ожидалось. Но если у компа короткое
двусложное имя host.net, то myhostname = mydomain = host.net .
Вопрос: это бага или фича?
Чтение, по диагонали, RFC (822, на который ссылается man, и 2822)
не просветило. Там есть примеров как раз вида user@host.network .
Master 2.4, postfix "из коробки", за исключением control
postfix server.
