Ничего из этой затеи не вышло.
[archer@localhost archer]$ amixer set Master 100 unmute
amixer: Unable to find simple control 'Master',0
set PCM положение регулятора меняет, но никакого действия на звук это не производит.
Пошел на алса-проджект и свой C-Media 9880 не нашел в списке поддерживаемого железа. Есть CMI8330, 8338, 8738 & 8768. (Не надо было такую новую мать покупать, мать ее).
В магазинах есть дешевенькая PCI CMI8768. Хочу купить как временное явление пока алса делает драйвер.
У кого-нибудь работает, что-либо из вышеперечисленного? Поделитесь опытом.
