Да, это Вам трудно придётся с таким старым дистрибутивом - пользователей
осталось мало, а разработчики уже забыли что там было.
Надо сразу указывать какой дистрибутив.

Но это не важно, т.к. устройство есть
1 Попробуйте позвонить от пользователя, включив его а группу pppd (вроде
так).
2 Прочтите справку по Kppp - она на русском языке (если нет - посмотрите
в инете - перевод существует).
