Да нет. Хотя в случае с reiserfs у меня складывается подозрение,
что корневой раздел мы толком не проверяем. С ext3 его нет.
(подозрение на пакете startup и fsck.reiserfs)

Если есть, то в /var/log/messages; да.
Если нет -- вывод можно приостановить при помощи Scroll Lock
и полистать экран Shift-PgUp/Shift-PgDown (серыми).
