В комплекте. Кажется, у нас тут была сборка 2.0.2 на 3.0,

Это всё реально, но в зависимости от ситуации с железом может
быть проще и удобнее (сейчас и им вообще) организовать
терминал-сервер.
На 3.0 с IceWM+ROX в качестве десктопа (XFCE imho детям давать
нельзя, хотя у рокса своих тараканов в голове хватает) и задачами
вида "ooffice2, seamonkey, rdesktop" до двух терминальных
клиентов более-менее живут на Cel2.0/256, аж бегом -- на
Cel3.06/512, и на AXP1600+/512 проверены то ли 4, то ли 5.
Бишь есть предположение (в принципе можно проверить, толк с этого
тоже будет), что на чём-то вроде недорогого A64-3000+/1G семеро
пользователей проживут вполне комфортно. Возможно, и с KDE,
только если задачи возможно свести к N малому кнопок -- лучше
так и сделать.
