Зависит от того, что при этом раскомментировано в
/etc/apt/sources.list и /etc/apt/sources.list/*.list
-- может накатить обновления по безопасности (кроме
ядра, см. Hold в /etc/apt/apt.conf), если соответствующие
updates, а может разворотить всё нафиг, если там не
соответствующий установленному репозиторий (например,
сильно более новый или другой) и делать необдуманно.
Если не трогали эти файлы -- ничего страшного произойти
не должно, однако прочитать и осмыслить вывод стоит.
Да, и update перед install/upgrade/dist-upgrade надо.
