Хотя, памяти явно маловато ...
Кроме того, железо такого класса выработало свой ресурс чисто
технологически ...
Старение элементов, высыхание конденсаторов и т.д. приводит в первую
очередь к пульсациям по питанию, что будет крайне паршиво отражаться на
работоспособности ...
Диск то же врядли лежал в шкафу, а нещадно эксплуатировался ...
Вы потратите много времени и сил на установку и настройку, но потом это
все может посыпаться в первый же день, когда Сквид начнет
эксплуатировать свой кеш ...
И своп при таком ОЗУ будет нагружен изрядно ...
Так что соразмерьте трудозатраты с надежностью ...
А руководителей, заставляющих админов танцевать такие танцы, нужно
вешать, и в повешенном состоянии расстреливать ... Аж пока не поймут
свои ошибки ...
