А в alsamixer для каналов Surround, Center, LFE установлена ненулевая
громкость и включен звук (клавиша M включает/выключает канал
независимо от выставленного значения громкости)?
Простейший тест - выполнить команду:
speaker-test -c 6
При этом выдаётся звуковой сигнал по очереди во все каналы. Если это
работает, нужно смотреть настройки тех программ, где 6-канальный звук
не работает.
Да, похоже, dmix в таком режиме не включается (в CA0106.conf dmix
предусмотрен только для 2-канального режима), так что карту сможет
использовать только одна программа одновременно - если выдаются
сообщения, что устройство занято, нужно найти и завершить мешающие
программы.
