а, простите за глупый вопрос, пакет ppp у вас установлен вообще ?
Просто если он установлен, то ppp должен быть уже в PATH, если его там
нет, скорее всего, просто надо поставить этот пакет, и всё заработает.
Проверить можно командой rpm -qa | grep ppp
или в графической оболочке synaptic
Пишите, если не получится.
