Не Marvel, если неохота по backports за дровишками шариться или
пересобирать раздаваемые. SATA -- знаю, что ICH5 работало.

Вообще по платформе IMCO AMD, но не знаю или не помню, что на
попадавшихся материнках (K8T8x0, NF4) из SATA было под тестами
с ALM2.4. Что-то работало...
На Intel 90% заработает сеть (набирать тоже рекомендую Intel),
да и с ICH[56] вроде всё довольно хорошо.
Но лучше по архивам поискать "master 2.4 <присмотренное>".
