Всё равно в результате загрузки в режиме rescue должен получиться shell,
но с более широким набором утилит, чем тот, который получается в stage2
инсталятора.
Кстати, ещё один вариант - запустить установку в режиме expert, после чего
не грузить лишние драйверы SCSI, которые, возможно, вызывают проблемы.

При этом нужно будет подсунуть и полный набор модулей для этого ядра -
т.е., фактически пересобрать образ ramdisk для stage2 заново.
