В качестве решения можно выставить нужные права на бинарник терминала.

Можно вообще сделать прозрачный прокси наверное.

Настройками прав, и монтированием через subfs? Как в SUSE это делается, не
имею ни малейшего понятия.

Тут не знаю, но с точки зрения здравого смысла библиотеки находятся в одной копии,
бинарники скорее всего у каждого свои.
