Здравствуйте, все-таки, ни у кого нет никаких идей по поводу этого сообщения,
которое выдается при загрузке собранного мной ядра 2.6.8:
> Kernel panic: VFS: unable to mount root fs on "sda1" or unknown-block(0,0)
То же самое выдается и при загрузке коробочного
kernel-image-std26-2.6.8-alt9.rpm.
Искал ответ в инете, единственное, что нашел, так это совет вкомпилить нужные
драйвера для винта. Но, судя по сообщениям, предыдущим kernel panic, драйвер
моего SATA Seagate, благополучно подгружается:
> /lib/modules/2.6.8-std-up-alt9/kernel/driver/scsi/sd_mod.ko
> /lib/modules/2.6.8-std-up-alt9/kernel/driver/scsi/libata.ko
> /lib/modules/2.6.8-std-up-alt9/kernel/driver/scsi/ata_piix.ko
> ......
> ata_piix: combined mode detected
> ......
> attached scsi disk sda at scsi0, channel0, id0, lun0
и т. п.
И еще, что же делать с тормозящим dvd-rw-приводом? В винде с ним все в
порядке. Хотелось бы, чтобы и в Linux с ним было не менее комфортно работать.
