Точно-точно! У меня были грабли еще когда-то на АЛК-2.3 если было включено:
Центр настройки КДЕ - Полезное - Раскладка клавиатуры.
Такая связка конфликтовала с xxkb...
P.S. Drool@rambler.ru уехал на drool_linux@pisem.net ;-)
