У меня вчера заработало с G_FILENAME_ENCODING=koi8-r. Правда, все
русские имена файлов красным цветом показало, как "некорректное utf-8" и
настойчиво советовало переименовать. Повбивав бы таких назойливых
авторов софта.
И менюшки там как в Gimp версии 1 - действия, касающиеся окна в целом,
а то и программы в целом вылезают по правой кнопке на имени файла внутри
окна. В Gimp от этого давно отказались, и сделали нормальное выпадающее
меню.
В dfm, хотя и нет менюшек кроме выпадающих, они хотя бы организованы
прилично - редко используемые операции спрятаны глубже, частые - на
поверхности.
