Точно так же не работает? Вообще-то патч для поддержки PL2303HX там уже
был, но не было ещё нескольких исправлений. Попробуйте использовать
просто minicom - проверьте, есть ли ответ на AT-команды. Имеет смысл
попробовать отключить flow control - возможно, кабель урезанный (хотя,
похоже, в этом месте тоже есть ошибка).
