Желательно
/etc/passwd
/etc/group
дабы права на растаренные каталоги пользователей восстановились.
возможно нужно в /var заглянуть ...
Вообще желательно еще при установка /home делать отдельным разделом
и ИМХО для сохранения ВСЕХ данных делать апгрейд а не переустановку системы.

Содержимое каталогов
~/.kde/share/config
~/.kde/share/apps
Если переходить с одной версии КДЕ на другую
(например с 3.1 из АЛК2.3 на 3.2 из АЛМ2.4)
и при этом подсунуть новой версии конфиги от старой ...
можно поиметь острых ощущений (с KMail так точно).
Процесс это весьма и весьма творческий.
