Мне помогло в свое время
# apt-get remove autologin
Для удобства автоматического входа конкретного пользователя при
включении компьютера, указал конкретного пользователя в
Настройка -> KDE -> Система -> Менеджер входа в систему
При таком раскладе при завершении сеанса КДЕ предлагает:
1. Войти под другим именем
2. Выключить комп
3. Перезагрузить
Это организационно для КДЕ, а если после проделанного выше питание не
выключается, попробовать в консоли дать команду
# poweroff
и если она не отрабатывает, тогда это уже другой вопрос.
