Здравствуйте!
Заметил одно несколько неприятное явление. На сервере стоит
pop-сервер popa3d, пользователи аутентифицируются по системной
базе. При получении почты наблюдается задержка во времени,
которая варьируется в зависимости от клиента. Так, для The
Bat!/Sylpheed задержка составляет около 15-20 секунд, а для
fetchmail - примерно 2-3 секунды. В принципе это не страшно, но
хотелось бы понять причину такой задержки, иногда раздражает. :)
Проблемы с DNS в качестве возможной причины отпадают, т.к. клиент
находится вместе с DNS- и POP-сервером в одной локальной сети, ну
а dig при резольвинге не тормозит.
От конкретного клиентского компа это не зависит, проверялось на
трёх различных машинах в локалке.
Кто-нибудь сталкивался с такими странностями?
