А контриб к сизифу уже не котируется?
Учитывая что, 90% необходимых для сборки мплейра пакетов в компакте
отсутствует -- совет имеет нулевую ценность
Правильный ответ должен иметь вид:
* настроить apt-get на
ftp://ftp.altlinux.ru/pub/distributions/ALTLinux/Compact/2.3/ALTLinux/RPMS.contrib/
и установить пакет apt'ом оттуда.
