По-моему Вы хотите странного. Если продолжит использовать бытовые
сравнения, то "почесать левое ухо правой рукой". :-) Чем Вас не
устраивает вариант сборки новой версии ядра и установки его в систему?
Как по Вашему пользователи Sisyphus проверяют работоспособность ядер?
Не при помощи же дискетки? А ведь кроме ядра есть ещё набор модулей,
которые идёт с ним (см. /lib/modules), а они ну, никак на дискету не
поместятся.
