Можно "убить" его с клавиатуры, нажав Ctrl-Alt-BkSpace. Но в этом случае
он снова запустится автоматически.
А можно перейти в текстовый 3-ий runlevel (telinit
3), обновить драйвера, запустить startx чтобы убедиться что все
работает, вернуться обратно в 5 runlevel(telinit 5).
