Вот у меня на одной машине не заработалa версия 1.1.4-alt1.b2, а предыдущая,
1.1.3_20030409-alt1, работает нормально. Симптомы достаточно похожие. Откат
на предыдущую версию решил эту проблему. К сожалению, пока нет времени
разобраться, в чем же, все-таки, дело.
Заодно можно посмотреть lsmod | grep ppp, но в данном случае, похоже, не в
этом дело.
