Как правило, ответом на "а как мне проделать одну и ту же графическую
операцию много раз?" является "ImageMagick". Какие конкретно утилиты из
тамошнего набора Вам придется использовать в данном конкретном случае,
я сказать не могу, но направление движения - именно то (возможно, лучше
будет действовать не утилитами и шелл-обвязкой для них, а, скажем,
PerlMagick'ом, но суть, в общем, понятна)
